Mark is a member of Ben Castle and the Blah Street Band. As long term collaborators, Mark and Ben also have a quartet, “Albuca”, with Darren Beckett (drums) and Arnie Somogyi (bass).
Mark has played live across the world including Europe, Japan, USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Russia, Singapore and Iceland.
In addition, Mark has produced more than 200 albums for a whole range of record labels and artists across many genres including the likes of noted blues/soul/jazz fuelled artists Beth Rowley, Carleen Anderson, and Paul Jones (Manfred Mann, Blues Band). Opera/Classical credits include Katherine Jenkins, Amy Dickson and Jonathan Veira.
Mark is a sought after arranger, be that for orchestra, strings, horns or vocals, as well as bands of all shapes, sizes and genres.
Mark has worked on many gospel albums, children’s records, documentary soundtracks, musical theatre and feature films. He has recorded in studios such as Abbey Road, RAK, Metropolis and Olympic but primarily works from his own home studio on the south coast.
Mark has made a home on the south coast of England, close to the beach and just a short drive from Brighton. Here is his home studio, an intimate space with infinite musical possibilities.
